Will the jewellery colour fade or tarnish?

All the parts that go through your skin e.g. with our belly bars the titanium bar and ball are tarnish-resistant and will stay looking new with proper care. Titanium doesn’t rust or corrode, making it ideal for body jewellery.

Due to the difficulty of forming intricate shapes with titanium, some decorative elements (like dangly charms) may be made from other materials, which can dull or tarnish slightly over time, especially with frequent exposure to water, lotions, or perfume.

All of our belly bars feature a 100% titanium bar and ball - these are the parts that come into direct contact with your skin and piercing, which is what matters most for safety and biocompatibility.

For some designs, particularly those with decorative or dangly attachments, those extra elements may be made from other high quality materials. This is because titanium isn’t ideal for intricate shapes or small detailed charms - it’s incredibly strong but difficult to mould in decorative designs.
